Dennis Hacklin served as Mayor of LaBarge at intervals for some seventeen years. He has been involved in the growth of LaBarge from the incorporation of the town, installation of city water and sewer, to the birth of an ambulance service and the volunteer fire department.
He was instrumental in obtaining grants for a municipal building to house the law enforcement facilities, for expansion of the water and sewer systems, the community center and the medical clinic.
Mr. Hacklin was selected last fall ny the Wyoming Association of Board of Directors as the alternate for the National League of Cities Scholarship.
In 1986, he was named by the University of Colorado as the recipient of the Colorado Rocky Mountain Program for Executives and Public Management.
Mr. Hacklin takes pride in the town of LaBarge as is displayed through his years of continual devotion and dedication to the town.
