Charles Jamieson graduated from Big Piney High School as the 1976 Valedictorian and later attended the University of Wyoming where he graduated with honors in 1980. He then attended the University on Utah School of Medicine and was a Pediatric Resident at the Mr. Zion Hospital in San Francisco and at Children's Hospital in Oakland, California.
Among his many honors are the Presidency of Northwest Counties Medical Society, Medical Staff Vice President at West Park Hospital in Cody, the Chief of Staff at the same hospital and was in the Pediatric Honors Program at the University of Utah School of Medicine.
Doctor Jamieson presently lives and practices in Cody; he and his wife Lema have two children, Chasette and Charles. He has professional membership in the Wyoming Medical Society, the Northwest County Medical Society, the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Charles was the first student from Big Piney to receive the Superior Student Scholarship, a full-ride academic scholarship in the State of Wyoming and is the first physician to have graduated from Big Piney.
