incorporated ceramic project

I made this project based on the assignment to create a piece/pieces incorporating something that's not ceramic. So I decided to incorporate chopsticks and make something useful: a chopstick holder. I've been wanting to make a chopstick holder all year, and here was the opportunity. 

I started with a couple of sketches and then made these pretty quickly, on the first one the chopsticks sit in its nostrils, and in the second they sit on his head squishing him. 

I like how they look right now, they should be pretty close to how they are now when they get fired since it's underglaze. But I like the colors and the red lips and the bead-like eyes.
