time capsule drawing

All three pieces were made off of a prompt, cropped self-portrait, object you depend on, and an interesting hand. The hand was made with the most amount of time, for the rest I ran out of time- not being abe to finish them. 

I used regular pencils that I found in my bag, a blick eraser and paper. I didn;t really use the eraser that much, besides at the begining when trying to get the shape of the hand and the ear/ mask right. 

Before I started drawing my hand I really tried to get the position or angle that I wanted. I tried getting a position where you could see emphasis on fingers that were closer up. I failed a little bit on the pointer finger, not being able to show that emphasis. But for the pencil it was pretty straight forward.
