I made these three rings with contrasting colors in mind. The focus was mostly on color and not on the form, although I did get carried away with one. I tried making the colors something I would not normally do, so very bright (non pastelly) colors. 

the three rings are made from fired clay, with acrylic paint. 

I wanted all three of them to be contrasting in some way or another, so they all are. I wasn't going to blend the blue into the orange originally, but I decided it would look way cooler. I wanted to glaze them but I forgot and just fired them. So that is why I used acrylic.
