This is a much different piece than the rest considering it is 3 dimensional. The idea behind the last piece in my investigation is that you as a viewer have to move the piece to view all angles and objects on the piece. My objects represent two different forms of energy: kinetic and potential energy. Potential is an object having the potential to move and Kinetic is an object in movement. This piece shows those stages through the objects I have already created in my investigation pieces. All the time you were viewing my portfolio, the objects showed you movement, here I am making you show the object's movement (while at the same time representing those stages). 

I started with a simple sketch, not knowing what pieces I would put on the object, so I just started with the 3D object. After I let it harden I came up with the objects from my portfolio I would choose. Then I underglazed the whole structure and carved into it with a metal tool. 

The reason it's 3D is because the viewer has to move the object. In the same sense, the object shows them the rest of the objects that represent forms of movement. It's movement within movement, of objects within an object.
