tidal shift 

I created this piece following the rules, to create art based on climate change. I wanted to do this piece on paper (with acrylic or gouache), but ended up opting for digital because I didn't have enough time.

I started with a sketch on paper, then took a photo, and traced it in Procreate and came up with colors as I went.

I wanted the colors to feel ironic, because the scene is gross and awful, but the colors are (for the most part) bright and cheery. I wanted lots of small details that the viewer would find if they looked for a while.
