The idea behind this piece was to create a melting man, so I wanted it to be messy and I also wanted the man to be colorful. I wanted the top to be clearly a person and the bottom to be just a bunch of drips, and when you put it together I wanted people to realize that it was a melting man.

I first used nails to put the two wooden squares together, then I used hot glue to make a lumpy base for the man. Then I covered everything in colorful wax.

I made everything colorful because I wanted viewers to look at the piece for a second before realizing that its a melting person.
