plaster cast

We were to create a hand cast, and basically do something creative with it. My fingers broke, so I broke them all off and used the fingers from my other hand. I then attached them all onto one hand.

the materials were plaster, in an alginate mold. We first mixed the alginate and stuck our hand in it and waited a couple minutes for it to dry. then you would pour the plaster and wait. 

I decided not to paint it for two reasons, one: it was passed due, two: I wanted a raw look to the hand, I didn't want color interfering with the fact that the fingers were all disproportionate.
