3D structure inquiry #2

I created this piece with the idea in mind of an orange and an ocean. 

I used pencil to sketch it out, then I mixed my paints and painted the ocean orange.

The first thing I had in mind was blue and orange, it then evolved into what I thought of those colors, and what they could be. I made the blue blocks drip down because they represent the ocean. the purple blocks where there as kind of an accent to the ocean, plus purple works well with yellow.
