investigation #14

I created this piece with the idea of excitement in mind. I also really wanted to use really brightly pigmented colors. I got the idea because it's almost the end of the investigations, and I'm pretty excited about that.

I used watercolor for the background, and before Idid the background I mixed latex and water to use as a masking fluid. Everything thing else is gouache and micron (for the outline).

I made all the colors very vibrant to depict how the character is feeling. Everything almost feels brighter, and more colorful when you're excited and or happy.
