logos

I made both of these with logo in mind. The first one is really my pride and joy, but the second one I really just did it last minute so it looks bad. For the first one I thought I could use the graphite of the pencil to create the words and it somewhat worked. But for the second piece I had no ideas and was kind of in an art block.

I used pencil for sketching on both pieces and, pigma micron, eraser and 9x12" paper.

For the "pencil" piece I really brainstormed on all the angles of a pencil, all of the things pencils do and how they do those things. And came up with this, a word writing itself. Thinking about ti now though, I think I could have made the pencil on-top writing the rest of word. So that the viewer would fill in the rest of the word.
