diploma project

I created this piece, with the idea that school was and still currently is boring to me. Besides some very interesting classes like art, and psychology my school experience has been boredom. I wanted my piece to be very literal, through my point of view, so I drew myself. 

I started with the background of the piece, then gessoed over my sketches, then added another sketch on top. It started as a couple of refined sketches in my sketchbook while trying to brainstorm. 

I am planning on using paper cutouts of my faces and changing the background to a darker navy blue+purple, as to contrast to the more light-colored cutouts.
