sustained inv #3

I created this piece with the idea of  a more detailed ring in mind. I wanted to focus on one ring instead of multiple, so I could devote all the time into one really good one. which somewhat happened.

I used fired clay as the base (jaw and head), sculpy for the details (hair, teeth, horns), and acrylic paint.

I added teeth to make it more realistic but it ended up making the ring less wearable. so that kind of defeated the purpose..
