I created th piece with the idea of confusion in mind. I thought of the expression that the "wires in your brain aren't connecting", and I wanted to create something justifying why they aren't connecting. I also wanted to get better at watercolor.

Pretty much the entire piece is made from water color, aside from the goblins and wires were made from gouache. And I did use fine liner for the outline.

I used gouache instead of watercolor because I wanted the goblins and the wires to be much more clearer andto be the  main focus.
