Angelo Agosti's Story:

Angelo was drafted into the military at 19 years old. He was previously a tool maker in Bridgeport Connecticut.

He was sent to three basic training camps located in Aberdeen Maryland, Jackson Mississippi, and Anaheim Alabama.

Following basic training, Angelo was shipped in a naval fleet across the Atlantic to Plymouth England to help fight in the European theater. He served in the Army Ordinance. He drove anything from tanks, half tracks, motorcycles, and ,jeeps. His job was to fix any broken piece of equipment. He earned 5 stripes in the Ordinance.

Angelo then began delivering mail throughout Great Britain. In his travels he learned to ballroom dance while in Blackpool England.

He served for 4 years in Great Britain before returning home to his family at the age of 23.

Angelo currently lives in Easton Connecticut, the same place he has lived for almost 60 years. Angelo plays golf multiple times a week and ballroom dances every weekend. He is 91 years old.
