"I liked the comradery; the brotherhood of the military. Some things I don’t like about it, but for the most part it’s just an experience, and it’s just trying to make the world a better place."

Jesse Rancourt's Story:

Jesse Rancourt is a father, husband, firefighter, veteran and an American hero.

Born in Boston and growing up on Cape Cod, he and his family have returned to the Cape to settle down. He served in the Air Force as a ground troop, battling on the front lines. Jesse chose to take action after hearing of the brutal attack of 9/11. This was only shortly after he had completed high school. Ever since that day, he knew it was his duty to help his country in any way possible.

The interview of this individual is an extraordinary story, and shows how anybody can help their country, just as Jesse did. Even after his years in service, he still continues to give back to the community as a paramedic and firefighter for the Orleans Fire and Rescue.
