Ronald Martin's Story:

In high school, Ron wasn't really the smartest student. His grades fell just short of collage eligible. He had a choice, either, take a low paying job, and probably eventually get drafted, or join the military. Ron had a past with boats, so he decided to join the Navy. Ron was born in Flint, Michigan 1948, and served in Vietnam from 1967-1971. Ron served on the USS Navarro (APA-215) Troop Transport ship. He then was stationed in Coronado, California in the (ACU-1) assault craft unit-1. Ronald served his country and the U.S navy for 5 years, then settled for some time in Sandy Hook, Connecticut and worked for the voulenteer fire department. Ron also is a retired carpenter, who loves to his own woodworking. He also enjoys sailing and Occasionally digs for oysters in Wellfleet. Ron moved to Wellfleet, Massachusetts in 2012, with his wife Lynn.
