Doug Mulholland's Story:
Doug left South Carolina without knowing his destination, a fifteen hour plane trip landed him somewhere in the Middle East. It was only a week or two before that Doug's unit got split up, one half would see combat the other would not. Doug's role did not land him on the battle field, however he was still heavily involved. Doug's recollection of events around him are described in his words as "incredible". He was astonished by the damage created by bombing and heavy artillery. It was one of his most unforgettable moments in his life. It wouldn't be before too long when Doug was able to return to his family.
