Kevin Daily's Story:

Kevin Daily was born On July 9, 1985. His father was a marine in Vietnam and he grew up in a military family and Kevin Said he knew he was going to be in the marines since he was a kid. He went into the marines right out of high school.

Kevin served from 2004 to 2010 in Iraq. In Iraq his squad and him helped train Iraqi solders so they could fight on their own. When he was there it wasn't like playing a video game and couldn't kill everything that moved. When they were shot at they usually couldn't even fire back because of the strict rules of engagement. Also he helped with the civilians, he gave them food and water. And gave the kids candy and toys so when they grow up they don't think of Americans as bad people.

When he returned the military he felt separated from his friends and other civilians. He wanted to be a vet but couldn't because he didn't have the grades for it. His military career is not over yet, and he planes on going back in the near future.
