David Lai's Story:
David Lai was born in New York City on December 22, 1937. After high school David had two options, either to go to College, or take over his father's business. He knew he wasn't interested in more schooling, and after seeing the 12 to 14 hour work days his father put in he decided against the business. His third option? The service.
In January 1955 David was a proud new member of the Air-force. During his military service David was a gunner on the B-52 planes and stationed in places such as Okinawan, Thailand and Guam throughout the Vietnam War.
When David retired from the service in 1985, he had earned the rank of Chief Master Sergeant and today he currently lives in Orleans Massachusetts.
