Daniel Pierce Story:
Daniel Andrew Pierce was born November 26 1947 in Rumford Rhode Island. Although school was not at his best interest he still did well and found his high school sweetheart. At a young age he became a father and was drafted into the Vietnam War.

Even though Daniel did have a choice whether or not to serve in the war he chose to serve for his country. When drafted into the war the amount of serving time is thirteen months, Dan took an extra six months in the service.

While in Vietnam Pierce served as a Forward Observer. He watched the Vietnamese day in and day out having to know when it was the right time to radio in. Sometimes watching from the ground in foxholes or in shabby brick huts.
