Rebecca Cully's Story:

Rebecca Cully is a great person very smart and you can learn a lot from her. Becca went to Nauset Regional High School. Day school was not so easy for her. There where a lot of distractions. Becca dropped out of day school and decided to go to night school. Night school was so much easier for Becca than going to day school. She was more focused and was able to get work done and graduate high school. After graduating high school Becca decided to go into the Marines. Rebecca was the only A/C mechanic for 3 units while deployed. Any A/C that broke between the logistics unit, infantry unit or air wing unit she was the person to talk to and she would fix it as quick as she could. While deployed she never had an A/C fail after she fixed it. She's pretty proud of that.

A Marine A/C mechanic Job includes troubleshooting engine problems, preventative maintenance and assembling or disassembling engines. Becca's job is referred to as an MOS and her MOS is 1161. A MOS is Military Occupational specialty. After being in the Marines Becca came home to the Cape. She didn't have a house of her own down here yet, so she stayed with her grandparents. Becca then found a job at TJMaxx, a clothing store. While working Becca also decided to go back to school. She is now moved out of her grandparents place and is living in West Dennis with her 1 year old daughter and is still working and still going to school.
