Emir Sehic's Story:

Emir Sehic was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia. He and his family crossed U.S. borders when he was just a young boy and grew up with a desire for education. In the mid-nineties, Emir would watch the PBS NewsHour in order to stay updated on the Bosnian War, which was occurring overseas at the time. This is what ignited his passion for serving.

After September 11, 2001, his decision to serve in the Army was solidified.
Emir was accepted into
Stanford University in California where he began to look at the different ROTC (Reserve Officers' Training Corps) program options. Luckily, the Army was one of them. He was a Central Intelligence Officer during his service and was great at his job.
