Channon Sherman's Story:
Channon Sherman was born on May 1, 1986 and grew up in both New Bedford Massachusetts and Fairhaven, MA. Many members of his family served in the military so he always planned to serve as well.
He joined the armed forces in March of 2005 and continued to serve until May of 2013. He joined as Infantry and served many positions from Machine Gunner to Team Leader and his ranking was Staff Sergeant. Now he works in New Bedford as an Auxiliary Operator.
Channon Sherman is very inspiring because he knew what he wanted to do for a career from a young age and persisted to work at his goal. Channon is truly a hero because he risked his life to help our country and fought for freedom. We look up to Channon because of his bravery, determination, and love for his country.
More formal attire for meetings, ceremonies, and formal events, with awards on the sleeves and chest for different levels that Mr. Sherman got to in the military.

Mr. Sherman would use a machine gun and grenade launcher for some of his positions.
Mr. Sherman served in both Afghanistan and Iraq during his time in the military.
