Bert Quick's Story:

Bert Quick grew up in a military home. Since his father and uncle were in the air force, when he came of age, he decided that he wanted to be in the Air Force also. Since Bert was so committed to the Air Force, he traveled to all parts of the world.

He graduated high school at Nauset and then joined the air force in 1984. He's been back and forth on different tours of duty that lasted months at a time.

Bert has been completely committed to his work and even misses birthdays, Christmas, and other major holidays. He does all these selfless things just to serve his country. Bert has experienced the worst and the best types of climates and he learned to cope with every situation possible.

Although Bert has made a lot of new friends, he is ready to settle down and stay home for a while. In the near future he wants to be an Air Force recruiter instead of continuing on with the tours.
