Wayne McGlone's Story:

Wayne was born in Plymouth, MA fought in the Persian Gulf War. Wayne joined the service soon after high school. He went through boot camp and was shipped out to Kiztingen, Germany where he was stationed for his military career.

Wayne served in the military from 1986 to 1991 and during that time was part of the 3rd Infantry Division Military Police and his rank was a E-4 Specialist. While in Germany, Wayne performed the normal duties of an MP such as things from directing traffic to responding to bomb threats. Wayne did not see much combat because he was an MP, but was constantly reminded of the fighting when he saw the coffin with a flag draped over it and the soldiers boots on top of the coffin.

While in Germany he learned the German language and made German friends. Wayne had many different experiences in his military career. For example, as an MP Wayne once had to respond to a situation where a man walked into a restaurant and stabbed his wife to death because she was cheating on him. Wayne had to deal with a dark side of war most people don't want to think about. He had to deal with murder, rape, and other crimes. Wayne saw first hand the side of people everyone knows exist, but don't try to think about it.
