Bill Greely's Story:

My veteran Bill Greely went through a tough time during and after the vietnam war. He was most upset after the war because when he came home he was treated like a baby killer and was spit on by everyone. Towards the end of my interview with Bill he said to me that he was greatful that he didnt have to worry about getting killed everyday by the vietkong. Bill was drafted in 1968 and served for a year in cambotia. During this experience he told me that it set him straight, he was a cocky know it all boy from boston. The war was his wakeup call. During the vietnam war Bill was a meterologist. In the interview he talks about some of the tools that he used to predict wind speed and tempature. Towards the end of his time in service he was treated poorly by the people back in the states. After Bill got his life together he meet his wife, and is now living a very peaceful life riding harleys and running the skatepark in Orleans.
