Justin Rheaume's Story:
Justin Rheaume grew up in Springfield Massachusetts. He lived in a trailer park, fairly poor. His parents were never married, so he was raised between two families. His father was a Marine in the 80’s, so he was raised in a strict household. Besides that he went through school normally. When his senior year came around he was looking to join the air force. Instead fate brought him to the Marine recruiting office instead of the air force office. On May 5th 2003, he joined the Marines later that year in October. He did the normal thing, went to boot camp on Paris Island. Then after boot camp, he went to Florida Pensacola for schooling training. While training in Florida, he met his wife. They got married a couple months later, and now have two kids. The first five years of Justin being in the Marines, he was in a non deployable unit. When he re-enlisted he requested to be put into a deploy able unit in South Carolina. He volunteered to go to Kuwait for a year. While he was in Kuwait he worked on the air traffic control equipment. After Kuwait he came back, and is now a Marine recruiter. He plans to stay in the Marines for as long as he can because he loves it so much.
