Sean O' Lally's Story:

When he was a boy, Sean had many family members in the marines he always had a little interest in joining the military and went on to eventually join the Army. Sean grew up in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Multiple members of his extended family were Marines. Sean always planned on being in the Army, being inspired by his father, uncle, grandfather, and cousin. Sean wanted to go to college but as he got closer, he lost his interest in college. He trained in Fort Bennington and Hunter Army Airfield. When Sean left america, his trip to Europe was about 20 hours, stopping in Germany first. He lived in a big canvas tent along with 12 other guys. Sean's training was very and intensive and lots of men dropped out during the training.

He was in boot camp for about 9 weeks. Then started infantry school for 5 weeks, and another 3 weeks for Airborne School. He served in the Army Batallion. During the day, if the team wasn't out in combat, they would sleep. Brotherhood inspired Sean to get up and fight each day, he knew that the others had his back as he had theirs. The saddest moment Sean had, was when he first arrived, the sergeant had been killed. From 7-8 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon. In combat, they were trained to not think about things and have a sort of automatic reaction. They didn't have time to think. While gearing up, Sean would become Hyper-Vigilant and be in his "Special Place." Sean's proudest moment was when he graduated RASP. When he got home Sean was happy to see his father and mother. Sean Lally is a great man and has done a lot to help out America.
