of the biggest things I want people to take away from if they're watching this, is the men and women of the armed forces really care about every ones safety back home, and if we just support them, I think it would make every ones life easier and it would bring us all together as Americans instead of being divided so much between this and that, it gets too political at times ..."

Manny Marrero's Story:
Manny Marrero served in the marines for eight years from September 4th 2001 to September 3rd 2009. His uncle was in the marines, and Manny wanted to follow in his footsteps. Sadly, his uncle died before he got the chance to see him join the military.
Manny wanted something different after high school so he started his military training when he was eighteen years old. He also wanted to use his military experience for college payment. Manny was stationed in San Diego, California and Iraq, where he experienced unforgettable events, like the loss of his dear friend.
He now lives with his wife and works as an occupational therapist at Cape Cod Hospital.
Manny Marrero is a hero, who risked his life everyday fighting for his country, enduring emotional and physical trauma.
