Allen Bachand's Story:
Allen Bachand was born 1962 in Rhode Island, where he spent his childhood until his family moved to Cape Cod in 1979. He grew up in a big neighborhood and spent lots of time with friends when he was young. Allen first got involved with the military in 1980 after spending 3 years in college. Since he was young Allen had always wanted to join the military. He made his way through boot camp and into the Air Force. Allen took place in Desert Storm and served through the whole war. He spent a total of 34 years in the Air Force; His service has brought him to several exotic locations such as Kyrgyzstan. Allen is now retired in Harwich with his wife and three kids and works at the Plymouth Nuclear Power Station as a security guard.
