Raymond Dube was born in 1947 and later went on to serve in the Vietnam war. He was a curious young man who wanted to be in the military. Mr.Dube joined the military to get away from his father. He decide to join at the age of 17; it was to leave a family situation. Raymond wanted to prove to his father that he is better than him and can make a difference. When he was in the Marine Corps in 1964 and in 1967, he was injured and awarded with the Purple Heart. He was in the hospital for about six months, after he got out he was assigned the position of Platoon Guide. Everyday for him in the military was a challenge and a struggle. When Mr.Dube went from the west to the east coast and landed in Los Angeles from Okinawa. He kissed the tart and went on his way, that’s when his services ended. Furthermore he lived a healthy life on Cape Cod Massachusetts.
