For Illinois only, all the following changes were made to the Illinois Retail Installment Contract: Postponement of Payment Due Dates provision was removed, guarantor signature and related text below it were added to the last page, text in the Use of Vehicle provision was added ("You agree to maintain, service, and repair the Vehicle and to not use it in any way that violates the law"), text in the Vehicle Insurance provision was added ("by naming us as lender loss payee"), two additional blank rows in the TILA Payment Schedule box were added, and the footer date was changed to reflect the date of the RIC update; and the Late Charge text was reversed to the previous language.
Lastly, a prompt has been added for the Wage Assignment checkbox. This prompt will require an “X” be entered if there is a Wage Assignment. Otherwise, leave the prompt blank for No Wage Assignment. By adding this prompt, we eliminated the Wage Assignment versions of the IL Retail Installment Contract.
