Action Required
There will be significant changes to the requirements for passwords in Google and Active Directory/Windows/Discover. These changes will go into effect the morning of February 6th, Tuesday.
All Byrider passwords must meet the following requirements:
12 characters minimum
Mixture of Uppercase, Lowercase, Numbers and Special Characters
Cannot be the same as the last 4 passwords used for that particular account.
Both account types will also have a 90 day password cycle in which you will have to change your password. It is important to note that we have never previously enforced a mandatory password reset in Google so this will be new for all of us.
What can you do to be proactive and ensure you do not have an issue come February 6th?
Change your Google and Active Directory/Windows/Discover passwords to meet the new requirements now instead of waiting until the deadline.
