Discover
Bug Fix - Vehicle Service -> Vehicle History Report images are not rendering while using Microsoft Edge
Fixed issue with the Vehicle History Report, aka “Your AutoCheck Summary Report” where images were not displaying as expected on the page. Discover requires the use of Edge in IE Compatibility Mode IE5 which means any HTML requiring a higher compatibility mode will not function as expected. The HTML for the AutoCheck Summary Report saved in the database requires an IE Compatibility Mode greater than IE7 to print the report with images. To address this issue new functionality was added and the ability to save the report in the History Reports was removed.
Updated Steps to Printing the Vehicle History Report

Go to Sales/Vehicle Module > Vehicle Inventory > Inventory > Lot Ready

Looker
5 New Inventory Dashboards are Available!
You will see 5 new Inventory related dashboards in Looker based on the existing Vehicle Inventory Report in Discover. These Inventory dashboards are point in time dashboards that provide metrics and analytics on inventory on a specific date; these dashboards are not meant to be used to look at inventory over a period of time. Additionally, the dashboards utilize a new feature called “cross-filtering” where you can click on a data point and the dashboard will update based on that data point (ex: click on the make of Nissan and the dashboard will update to show only Nissan analytics). A brief explanation of each dashboard is below.
Inventory
Various insights and analytics on overall inventory with the ability to filter on Vehicle Status. Detail at the bottom should generally mimic the detail of the legacy report. Users must specify a single specific date in the filter to see the inventory analytics as of that day.
2. Vehicles for Sale
Insights and analytics (very similar in nature to the Inventory dashboard) specific to vehicles in the For Sale status (Fsa) only. Users must specify a single specific date in the filter to see the analytics of vehicles for sale as of that day.
3. Vehicles in Recon
Insights and analytics (very similar in nature to the Inventory dashboard) specific to vehicles in the Recon status only. Users must specify a single specific date in the filter to see the inventory analytics related to vehicles in recon as of that day.
4. Physical Inventory Report
This dashboard is essentially a data dump of the inventory report intended for download, as needed. Users must specify a single specific date in the filter to see the inventory analytics as of that day.
5. Buyer Comparison
New dashboard (not based on any existing report) allowing you to compare buyers activity. If the user selects a buyer or multiple buyers in the Buyer filter the dashboard will compare that buyer(s) vs all your other buyers as a whole. Users must specify a single specific date in the filter to see the inventory analytics as of that day.
These 5 dashboards are the first attempt at transitioning inventory data into Looker; as we continue the journey with Looker we will work to build out additional inventory related dashboards that consider a more transactional based review over periods of time.
Users can get additional support on how to use and digest these new dashboards in August’s monthly Franchise webinar and/or from your Franchise Consultant (FC) or Regional Manager. Please reach out to your FC or Regional Manager with any questions on these new dashboards and any feedback or issues can be submitted through the Service Desk.
