MyByrider Mobile Application
MyByrider App - Added Dealerships Ability to Disable Customer Ability to Make Payments using MyByrider App
Added Byrider Dealership ability to disable a customer's ability to make payments using the Mybyrider Mobile app, using current functionality in Discover.
Unchecking both “Accept Checks from this customer?” and “Accept Credit Card payments from this customer?” in the Discover Customer info Screen will trigger the MyByrider App to disable the customers ability to make payments using the App.
If ONE or BOTH boxes are checked, customers WILL be able to make payments in the App per their chosen payment method. (what box is checked or unchecked does not impact the App payment methods)
NOTE: Currently, the App payment button Disable / Enable and in App payment messaging is set/updated when a customer signs into the App.
Example 1: Customer’s payment ability is turned off. When the customer signs into the MyByrider App, they will see the disabled message and will not be able to use the Payment buttons.
Example 2: Customer has the App open, Dealership turns off ability to make payments. App messaging will not yet appear as they are still signed in. If the customer attempts to make a payment the final payment submit will give an error message and payment will not go through.
Example 3: Customer has the App open, talks to a representative and Dealership re-enables the App’s payment function. The Customer should be instructed to Log out and log back in to reset the payment ability.
STEPS:
Uncheck both selection boxes to disable. Check one or more to re-enable.
Customer signs in and the App displays payment disabled message. Payment buttons are Grayed out.
