General Notice:
This update release is scheduled to occur on the morning of July 27st, 2021
Byrider.com / Website
Drivably Link on Website (Phase 1) : “Sell My Car” Navigation Menu Link Launches Drivably Form.
Business Opportunity: Byrider would like to build the capability to source inventory from the public. Through Byrider’s existing relationship with Drivably, we integrated Drivably software into the website to test this proof of concept.
Consumer Experience: On the website’s global navigation menu, we added "Sell My Car" link which will launch the Drivably modal/popup. The modal/popup houses a form that allows a consumer to receive a purchase offer for her car from Drivably. The form provides the consumer three ways to enter car information:
License Plate
VIN
Make & Model
This link is available globally throughout the website from the main navigation menu on both desktop and mobile. In this phase, “Sell My Car" navigation will not be configurable by location. Drivably will be making a direct offer to the consumer to purchase a vehicle regardless of location and then allowing Byrider to acquire based on the car buying team’s criteria for car product sourcing.

LOOKER - upgrade to dashboards on 8/2
As mentioned in the 7/21 release notes, Looker dashboards will be converted to a new format on August 2nd (8/2). The primary difference you will experience is the look and feel of the filtering on each dashboard (again if you have used the new OLAF or Sales Funnel by Saleperson dashboards then you have experienced the new format). All dashboards will now direct to a “https://byrider.looker.com/dashboards-next/” URL. If you have any links to dashboards bookmarked, be sure to update them after we upgrade.
Here is a brief explanation of the impact of filtering:
Filters will appear different, with the Date Range filters having the most change. Date Ranges will typically default to “This Month” instead of “in the past 1 months.” To change the Date Range, click on the box containing the filter. Several Presets are available, or you can select a Custom Date Range. When you select a Custom Date Range, select the first and last day of the range you want.
Note: The last date selected is now included in the returned results. You no longer have to use the next day to pull in the last day of data you want.
You may also see other types of filters, like a Button List. In a Button List, if no filter is selected, all results will show. If one or more filters are selected, only those results will appear aggregated in the dashboard.
Text filters will work similarly as before. Click on the box for the filter to adjust it. You may adjust the type of match the filter performs, with “is” (an exact, case-sensitive match) and “contains” (a case-sensitive partial match) being the most often used. Text filters will still have a drop-down of filter suggestions.
After you change all the filters you wish, don’t forget to Update the dashboard.
For a more detailed exploration of Looker’s new dashboard experience, please refer to their documentation. As always, if you have any questions please reach out to your FC or General Manager.
