Schedule Appointment MVP
After completing an online application (OLAF), the consumer will have the ability to schedule an appointment at the dealership via the website. Upon selecting a day and time to visit the dealership, the consumer will be able to continue the car buying process at the dealership.
The following header text will display below the OLAF result:
"Next, Set up an appointment to get you into your next vehicle."
The call to action / instructional text will read:
"Our cars sell quickly, so schedule soon!”
Under "Select a Date" header, the next 7 Available Days with Sales Hours will display:
Inside each date box display the following:
Day Abbreviation: "Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat"
Due to being closed, Sundays will not be displayed as an option
Month Abbreviation with Date: "Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr/May/Jun/Jul/Aug/Sep/Oct/Nov/Dec"
Under "Select a Time" header, all available appointment time slots will display:
Inside each time box will display the following:
Display time in "HH:MM AM/PM" format
Time will display in 30 min intervals
Default Selection (Day 1)
Present Day 1 Selected with Available Time Slots by Default on page load
The current/next available day with dealership Sales Hours will be highlighted by default
Time slots will begin with a minimum of 30 mins from app submission (ex. App submitted at 1:31pm --> 2:30pm 1st slot displayed)
Selection of a Time slot enables the "Confirm Appointment" button
Upon Selection of Days 2-7
Present all time slots in 30 mins increments from open to 30 mins prior to close.
Upon consumer selection of a Time slot, the "Confirm Appointment" button is enabled
The display time is driven off of the store hours in Discover i.e 30 minutes after open and 30 minutes before close. The soonest appointment would be rounded up to 30 minutes after completing an OLAF. The consumer must complete an OLAF to have the ability to schedule an appointment.
Enable Schedule Appointment
This functionality is enabled by the store preference panel in CRM. Currently, three company stores and one zee are piloting this new feature. Stores must be on OLAF to enable schedule appointment functionality on the website.
The consumer must complete an OLAF to have the ability to schedule an appointment. The schedule appointment feature will be displayed for all OLAF decisions: approved, need more info, and declined.
Mobile Interactions
The Days and Times will be accessed by swiping/sliding left/right
A consumer may tap/untap to select/unselect a given day/time
Upon selecting a given day, the available appointment times will display below
Desktop Interactions
The Days and Times will be accessed by using "<" ">" carousel widgets
A consumer may click/unclick to select/unselect a given day/time
Upon selecting a given day, the available appointment times will display below
Confirmation of Appointment
After a consumer selects a time in the schedule appointment widget, the appointment details selected will be presented to the consumer

Schedule Appointment - Need a Future Date option
Consumers who desire to book appointments farther out than the provided days will find at the end of available days to schedule (7), another box will display with "Need a future date?". When clicked, the "No problem!" text, description and dealership contact card will display and replace the "Select a Time" Picker.

Schedule Appointment Completed on Website
Upon the consumer scheduling an appointment on the OLAF end-screen, the system will send the Appointment Details to Byrider via API and for storing and displaying in CRM.

When the user clicks the "My Cars" CTA, the drawer will open and close via toggle. When the user clicks the "Get Approved" CTA, they will be taken to the location-specific GMA/OLAF form (follow current dealership logic).

Remove “Get Approved” CTA button redundancy on the site.
With the release of FAB (Scheduled to release on 04/01/2021), “Get Approved” will be removed from each vehicle tile on Global Inventory and Dealership Inventory pages. Instead, “Get Approved” button will always be available on the floating action bar (FAB) on the website throughout the consumer journey.

Please be aware that the legacy Sales Funnel and Sales Funnel Franchisee reports you receive in your email will be retired and no longer available effective April 5, 2021. Information included in these reports are available in the Looker dashboards. For Company Stores please reach out to your General Manager and/or Regional Manager with questions. For Franchise Stores please reach out to your Franchise Consultant with any questions. If you still do not have Looker access please submit a HD ticket asap to be set up in Looker.
