Looker
Looker | Operating Statements Rebuild | Phase 2 Sales SLOS
The new dashboard has improved load times and we have taken great care to ensure the accuracy of the data contained within the report. We have introduced additional functionality that allows for the downloading of the report to Excel for additional analysis to be completed. Please note that upon the release of the new dashboard, the existing dashboard will no longer be accessible.
NOTE: Any automated reporting that has been configured will need to be rescheduled using the new Sales SLOS Dashboard.
Please see the bottom of this document (below steps on how to download the report) for some additional notes about our new Dashboard!
Feature 1 - Filters & Navigation: New filters are available and will be set to default to your franchise. The new dashboard also features the improved standard Navigation bar. Once all Operating Statements are released, you will be able to navigate between the Finance, Sales, and Service SLOS dashboards using the Navigation bar.
Feature 2 - Look Tiles: The new dashboard displays the Month to Date and Year to Date Net Sales and Units Purchased to visually assess where your location is against targets.
Feature 3 - Report Output: Now contained on the dashboard is the report output generated by the D365/Discover data. Unlike the previous dashboard, this report contains MTD and YTD comparisons between Actuals and Budget combined in the same view. For ease of calculations, we have added columns that contain the MTD and YTD Actual and Budgeted Financed Units.
Feature 4 - Download Capability: Click the three dots in the upper right corner and select Download from the available options. In the dialogue box that appears, change Format to CSV and click Download to access the report. It will download a ZIP file and the report will show as “budget_vs._actuals.csv”.
NOTE: For any changes that are made to be saved on the Excel file downloaded, you will need to save the file as a XLSX (Excel File).
A couple of notes about the new Operating Statements:
The report results are driven by three things:
Financed Units
Total Sales
Payable Gross Profit
If any of these three items are empty, then the report for month to date will be empty.
For example, I run the Sales SLOS on 10/3/2023 to look at the prior day’s numbers. My SLOS is empty because I had no Financed Units sold, and thereby nothing under Total Sales and nothing under Payable Gross Profit.
In addition, we had the great help of a User Acceptance Testing team, and they provided the following feedback. Here is a table that lists what they asked for and our subsequent responses:
Finally, Thank You to (in alpha order by last name) the UAT testing team!

These additional amounts can be Edited on the ARE Customization page and will affect deals with a Repossession within 3 months or where the deal has a Repossession within 4 to 12 months or 2 with 3 years.
Note - if additional Total Investment amounts are required these are in addition to the base Total Investment needed for a deal.

The Credit Bureau page in CNAC has been corrected to only allow for Soft Pull Credit Bureau pulls. If the location is unable to get a Credit Bureau pulled from CNAC contact the Service Desk.
