Lamia

Unlike their Yuan-ti children the Lamia is only snake from the waist down everything else is a beautiful female human, except for the extra 2 or 4 arms.

Culture

the lamia are the queen of the yuan-ti each queen is at the head of every clan. yuan-ti rarely war with each other but when they do its over a spat between 2 lamia and is normally quickly resolved. while lamia are as sentient as yuan-ti lamia are always raised in the same way and taught the same things. so there is never room for alignment variation.

lamia are superior to yuan-ti in every way they are larger, smarter, have more arms, braver, more potent venom, better resistance to magic, cant be surprised, immunity to none-damaging magic (including illusions), more flexible or dexterous, better at wielding magic, and get the best equipment. facing a lamia in battle is to challenge an army of yuan-ti followed by a snake girl army of 1.

lamia take advantage of their enemies by making the armor they wear cover everywhere except their genitalia and breasts so that any male enemies they face will be distracted. with their large dexterity they can easily force any attackers to only be able to hit the armour even if the distraction fails

lamia breed yuan-ti by copulating with the highest ranked yuan-ti producing eggs that will eventually hatch into more yuan-ti. lamia are born on the exceedingly rare occasion where instead of producing an egg the lamia will get pregnant. pregnancy is a sign that a new lamia is to be born

lamia have little to entertain themselves safe in their home chamber. so their hobbies generally consist of weapon testing. they take whatever weapons where collected from yuan-ti spoils and see what it does if they like it they will keep it as one of their 4 or 6 main weapons. because of which all the weapons that a lamia uses will always have unique powerful effects

lamia are normally always born with 6 arms but on rare occasions a lamia is born with 4. lamia however do not meet other lamia until they are adults, assuming they meet them at all. because of this they normally mature long before finding out they are different and are not bothered by it
