Chimera

The fearsome chimera is the horror of the north. being a lion with a second head of a goat and its tail replaced by an entire snake it makes its home in the mountains around the realm of war. somtimes called the "world cage"

the fearsome beast known as the chimera is a powerful foe, capable of 5 attacks by using is claws and various mouths on top of its sheer attack rate it can breath fire and its snake head has a venomous bite.

despite having the head of a male lion all chimera are female. chimera breed by having the snake tail trick normal male snakes into fertilizing its eggs. the chimera that hatch then suckle off their mother until they are old enough to leave and live on their own

when trained a chimera makes for a reliable guard for treasure and a fearsome mount in combat. it should be noted however that the chimera has difficulty with armor and the rider cannot use melee attacks without likely hitting the chimera by accident so riders are encouraged to use range weapons against different targets
