these horrid creatures are hideous to behold looking only slightly more attractive then the average wood giant, this creature is generally reptilian, has wings, an elongated neck with what looks like a horribly twisted mans head with antenna and the teeth of gargantuan rabbit, as well as elongated 'fingers' with long claws on the end
Culture
very little is known about the beginning or the continuation of this creatures species all thats really known is its overt capabilities in combat. for example its immune to physical and elemental damage that doesnt come from the blade of a sword and even when using a sword it has an immense armor class of -10
and those are just its defensive capabilities. when attacking, a jabberwocky does what people call 'jabbering' or an upgraded version of the flesh slimes 'gibberish'. this 'jabbering' is a pervasive rumbling that, while not necessarily loud, causes slight shaking in everything around and streching multiple yards away from the location of the jabberwocky all who are shaken by this jabbering must save vrs spell or be confused at a penalty of -4. this confusion is more powerful then normal confusion causing the individual to have difficulty telling distance, seeing hallucinations (like instead of a slight rumbling seeing what appears to be an earth quake going on) and will have difficulty speaking words understandably
from its eyes it is able to fire a paralysation beam, its mere presence induces fear forcing enemies to save vrs fear every turn, and it can immobilize an enemy by grabbing them in their long 'fingers' (2 max, gains bonus while attack immobilized foes).
with the teeth of a massive rabbit the jabberwocky is not made to eat meat but these massive teeth mixed with the immense size and strength of a jabberwocky makes for a dangerous mix. a bite wont end with holes the bite is simply to get ahold of you, the real damage is when it grabs hold of another part of your body then tries to rip you in two
History
no one really knows where it came from or how it lives its life. but there is one unsubstantiated rumor among the skaven about its origins: they say that a skaven warband had successfully killed and brought back to antharg a wyvern/dragon/hydra/scylla/etc(its a rumor and this part changes everytime but it was some kind of scaly beast) for him to eat and antharg obliged. but...as antharg ate the creature he suddenly began to choke with some whacks to the back and antharg beating on his own stomach the piece of meat flew out onto the ground...but then it suddenly stood up and ran away. the skaven were baffled and stared in disbelief as the piece of meat ran off but antharg himself didnt care and simply went back to eating. could that piece of meat eventually grow into a jabberwocky? where did the other jabberwockies come from? is this just the skaven trying to make their god look stronger? we may never know.
