said to be the personification of beauty the nymph is technically a forest creature. nymphs look like extremely beautiful woman normally clad in garments made from nature that she made herself. but she will wear anything she considers beautiful
Culture
the nymph lives her life surrounded by beauty only choosing to live in locations truly beautiful. any encounter with a nymph is sure to indicate a nearby location that will induce amazement.
the nymph is so beautiful that a single glance will cause any intelligent creature, beholders notwithstanding, to go blind if the nymph does not hide herself. in addition if one were to catch her bathing her beauty alone would surely kill you. to avoid these effects you must successfully save vrs spell
when forced into combat the nymph will always run, never directly engaging in combat. while a nymph is a capable mage they will use their magic to impede chase or dimension door to safety
nymphs are good creatures and should they see somone in danger they are almost guaranteed to try to save them...unless that somone is ugly or evil. nymphs hate ugliness and see evil as ugly
History
much like the dryad the nymph is a creature that no one really knows how its born. children born to nymphs are their fathers race even if they take on the looks of both parents. in addition nymphs are assumed to have a separate body much like dryads due to 'killed' nymphs eventually returning. this separate body is not a tree since nymphs can go anywhere they want
