Centaur

The well known race of centaurs are human from the waist up but have a horse from below the neck as their waist

Culture

the centaur are a proud people. distrusting of humans and outright violent towards pigmen, greenskins, lizardmen, and other more barbaric races. but highly trusting to most elves

centaur usually keep to themselves, they interact most commonly with wood elves, dryads, satyrs, and other such forest creatures. while centaurs are herbivores they do find meat to be appetizing and will eat the occasional rabbit for the taste alone for none of their stomachs can digest it

centaurs are the common mount for wood elves however while they get along well they, unlike wood elves, are alot more modest. with their woman commonly wearing armor even outside of battle simply to cover themselves

History

When an paladin enclave created a outpost close to an area centaur commonly wander tentions between the two rose to war several times but when both groups eventually calmed down they found they had alot in common. eventually the two groups merged creating a unique group of paladins riding paladin centaurs
