the pegasus is a light-colored horse with wings
Culture
the horse of the elemental plane of air, the pegasus spends its time flying around its plane playfully. it is well known as having little fear due to lack of predators, so it will approaching people hoping they will play with it. pegusi are a common sight near genies of the plane because genie commonly play with them
just like all beasts from the elemental planes the pegusus can eat its element for nourishment. if forced into battle the pegasus can dive bomb like a bird, while it doesn't have claws being hit by hooves at those speeds will hurt
when attempting to be tamed the pegasus is annoyingly stubborn. with its flight capabilities it can even be dangerous. that said its alot easier then taming a griffon so people will still use it as a slightly cheaper mount

the pegasus is a common servant to zues, servants of zues revere the pegasus and react hatefully towards those that harm them
