Yuan-ti

the yuan-ti are snake people that are snake from the waist down, have humanoid torso's, and a snake head. even though their torso's are humanoid they are covered in scales and have clawed, four digit hands. they are normally a red, green, or blue in color.

Culture

the yuan-ti are loyal servants to antharg lord of plague. once they were snake worshipping jungle humans but with anthargs passive influence they became the very thing they worshiped. while not the favored servants they none the less worship him and obey his every command

yuan-ti fangs can produce venom like most snakes, they also are not above spreading their venom on the blades they use. so any blow from a yuan-ti is likely to poison. while the yuan-ti have claws they avoid using them whenever possible preferring any other method of attack they can find.

yuan-ti are quite long and are happy to use this as an advantage in combat coiling around their opponents and constricting crushing them to death if the venom from their blades and bites doesnt kill them first.

the yuan-ti have strange relationships with the other intelligent races from the realm of plague. despite being the favored of antharg the skaven are seen as the perfect food to the yuan-ti and despite being allies will commonly eat them. in addition despite being enemies with lizardmen they have feelings of camaraderie with another cold-blooded race. so when war ends the yuan-ti commonly release their war prisoners without further issue. this consistent action has prompted the lizardmen to do the same

because of their worship of antharg he has granted them immunity to disease and, being snakes, they have extremely high dexterity with their naturally high intelligence and magic resistance mixed in they are by far the most fearsome opponent of the enemies of antharg
