On 20 Dec 1802 Thomas Otway Page wrote to Acting Surveyors General Chewett and Ridout stating Samuel Letch was the original nominee of Lot 162 in the Town of Niagara and Lot 161 one acre was granted to Thomas Lake and bought by Page.
