On 19 Jan 1818, Acting Surveyors General Chewett and Ridout prepared a surveyor’s assignment for James Kerby of Queenston, Niagara Twp., Esquire for 56 acres of land in the south parts of Lots 23 and 24 Concession 7 Crowland Twp. (Crowland Township Papers 0548)

Lemon, Laurence

On 3 May 1791 the Land Board read the petition of Laurence Lemon for a grant of two hundred acres of land in Township No. 2 above Chippeway (Crowland) and found him qualified to receive two hundred acres of land. The order was referred to Acting Surveyor General Augustus Jones who assigned to him two hundred acres in Lot 1 Concessions 6 and 7 in the Township of No. 2 above Chippeway. Lemon, William

On 4 May 1795 William Lemmons (sic) aged 22, born in Northampton County, farmer appeared before Dan Millard J. P. and took the prescribed oaths and was recommended for a grant of two hundred acres of land. On 6 May 1795 Acting Surveyor General D. W. Smith assigned to him two hundred acres in Lots 2 and 3 Concession 6 Crowland Twp. (Crowland Township Papers 0353)

On 24 May 1794 the Land Board read the petition of Benjamin Lyons for a grant of two hundred acres of land in Township No. 2 above Chippewa (Crowland) and found him qualified to receive two hundred acres of land. The order was referred to Acting Surveyor General Augustus Jones who assigned to him two hundred acres in Lots 4 and 2 Concession 3 in the Township of No. 2 above Chippewa.
