Innes, John

On 9 Apr 1802 the Executive Council of Upper Canada gave a grant to John Innes for 200 acres in Lot 12 Concession 5 Humberstone Twp. (Humberstone Township Papers 0756)

Acting Surveyor General D. W. Smith gave an undated survey to John Innes for 200 acres of land in Lot 12 Concession 5 Humberstone Twp. as per an Order of Council of Upper Canada dated 12 Jul 1796 and warrant of 4 Mar 1797 (Humberstone Township Papers 0758)


Ionson, Andrew

In a letter dated at Chippawa on 10 Jul 1845 James Cummings wrote to Hon. D. Daly stating Andrew Ionson of Humberstone was located on a piece of land and was desirous of having a small portion of it. Cummings had seen his discharge and pension ticket and wrote, “He seems to be a decent man and has seen much Sea Service” (Humberstone Township Papers 0114)


Johnstone, William
